Check out the Movie Cliches list for a good crack up. They definitely need a list for the military. For example:

-All military generals have a secret desire to bomb "the enemy." Anyone is the enemy.
-Any realistic war movie is about a military disaster.
-Any pro-military movie will be so patriotic you want to throw up from the overwhelming pride.
